Foundation Section: Basic Aptitude

In this section, I faced questions related to logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension.

I found this to be a straightforward round, thanks to my preparation. My background in engineering mathematics particularly helped me in this section.

Round 1: Advanced Reasoning and Quantitative Assessment

The first round was challenging but engaging, covering a variety of logical and numerical questions.

Although I found some of the distance and direction questions tricky, I managed to complete the number systems and percentages sections successfully. This round served as an apt screening for my analytical abilities.

Round 2: Advanced Coding

The coding round had two complex problems. One was related to time series analysis, and the other was about NLP (Natural Language Processing). While I had done some prior work on time series, NLP was relatively new to me. However, I relied on my core programming skills and managed to get through.

Round 3: Technical Interview

The technical interview focused on my understanding of various data analytics tools like Tableau, R, and SQL. I was also asked to explain some of the projects listed on my resume in detail.

The questions were precise, probing into the depths of my knowledge and skills.

Round 4: HR Interview

The HR round was somewhat relaxed but included a few curveballs. Questions were mainly based around team dynamics, my long-term goals, and how I handle stress.

The interviewer seemed genuinely interested in my responses, making my overall experience pleasant and insightful.

The foundation round included questions about logical reasoning, basic math, and English language. Having prepared for this section, I felt at ease answering the questions. My preparation in critical reasoning and problem-solving proved advantageous.

Round 1: Advanced Reasoning and Quantitative Assessment

This round was intellectually stimulating, with questions spanning a wide array of topics like numerical patterns and blood relations.

I had prepared beforehand, which helped me manage my time effectively. The complexity of the questions kept me engaged throughout the round.

Round 2: Advanced Coding

The technical interview was challenging but rewarding. Questions ranged from OOPs concepts to specific queries about version control and branching strategies in Git.

Although I was caught off guard by a question related to microservices, I think I managed to explain my thought process clearly, which seemed to satisfy the interviewer.

Round 4: HR Interview

The final HR round was less stressful but equally important. The focus here was on soft skills and cultural fit. I was asked about my interests outside of work and how I manage conflicts in a team setting.

The HR was very congenial, and this round left me feeling positive about the whole interview process.
